What does the job entail? It is expected but not limited to, to assist the nursery manager in providing and maintaining a high standard of education, care, and the maintenance of the nursery environment for the children within the setting by all the staff working within the nursery.   To work as part of the nursery management team and ensure that strategic planning, monitoring and observation, evaluation, ensuring this is embedded in the daily running of the setting. You will be expected to make professional contributions and recommendations about developments and changes within the nursery. To assist the nursery manager and deputy manager in identifying gaps in staff training, supporting the continuous professional development for all individual staff members through planning and development with the setting.
