Benefits:
PWCN is a unique company to work for. We are a non-for-profit CIC organisation, managed by a voluntary board for directors. Our well established, and experienced board of directors, bring a wealth of knowledge and experience, and are all fully committed to what we do. The sole purpose of the board is to support the staff, children, and local community in which our Nursery is set. PWCN itself is a well-established company and currently provides an Ofsted rated good education for 0-5's.
Here at PWCN we pride our self on doing things differently. We have carved out job roles that allow our employees to really focus on their key areas of responsibilities. We feel that this approach supports the wellbeing of everyone and prevents anyone from becoming over stretched.
Our management structure is made up of two equal senior roles. One is our Nursery Operations Manager, who oversees the day to day running of the nursery floor, staff, children etc and the other is our Strategic Operations Manager, who is fundamentally office based and takes care of the more strategic sides to the business such as finance, funding, paperwork etc
At PWCN we strive to put the wellbeing of our employees at the heart of what we do, and as a non-for-profit organisation, have to freedom to make decision based on what’s “right” for Nursery, rather than what will make the most profit.
The nursery shares a building with the Pomfret Family hub in the grounds of Highwell School and has strong relationships with both organisations.
