Job Details

Cutie Pies Nursery is a private day nursery delivering good standards of care and education for children aged between 3 months and 5 years is looking for a qualified and experienced Nursery Deputy Manager to join our friendly and happy team. The successful candidate will have an enthusiastic and positive attitude along with excellent communication and written skills, and the ability to build strong, supportive relationships with children, parents, and staff. They should also be patient, empathetic, caring and friendly. Do you fit the profile? Then we really want to hear from you!
Role overview:
  • Work as part of the team
  • Ensures that the Nursery team are supported effectively
  • Contributes to the effective running of the room
  • Working Monday-Friday between 8am-6pm
  • To work to provide a caring, safe, and stimulating learning environment for children 0-5 years old
  • To be a key worker responsible for the planning and monitoring of children’s progress
  • To work in partnership with parents and carers
Essential Skills/Qualifications:
  • Full and relevant Early Years qualification up to Level 3
  • Full understanding and working knowledge of the EYFS
  • Awareness of the Ofsted inspection framework
  • Experience of working within a team
  • Experience of providing customer service
  • Good understanding of health and safety requirements
  • Experience in managing a cohort of key children
  • A good understanding/knowledge of child development.
  • A sound understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection.
  • The ability to communicate with good English language and written English
Cutie Pies Nursery is committed to the safeguarding and child protection, all successful candidates will have to undergo a DBS check and the fee for the check will be covered by the employer. Employment is subject to 2 satisfactory references and salary will be between £28,000 and £32,000.

Cutie Pies Nursery is a private day nursery with single storey building and a secure outdoor play area. We are delivering good standards of care and education for children aged between 3 months and 5 years. 

We aim to reach as many children and their families as possible in our local area. Providing a stimulating learning environment with a wide range of activities to support the learning and development of the children.

We are open approx 51 weeks of the year and closed for all bank holidays and over the Christmas period.
