Happyfeet Day Nursery is a family run business that has been active for 10 years. The nursery is run by Heidi Billing, our director and Candice Morton, our manager.
The appointed candidate must have a warm, enthusiastic attitude to making differences to children’s lives.
This is a full-time position where your working hours would vary between 8-530 to co-inside with adhering to room ratios, you may be required to work additional hours.
Duties of the role will include: To help create and develop a stimulating environment to meet the needs of the individual child. To plan stimulating experiences for all children within the room and cater for all their individual stages of development. To establish positive relationships with all members of the nursery team, children and their families.
Keep up to date with current legislation relating to working with young children. To participate in regular fire drills and ensure that procedures are correctly carried out in the event of an evacuation. To be responsible for your own learning of The Early Years Foundation Stage To be prompt and responsible for your own timekeeping and follow our policies and procedures. To provide a responsible and good example to children, parents and staff.
You will need to have a full and relevant level 2 or level 3 qualification in early years.
