Cloud Twelve is a one-of-a-kind high profile wellness and lifestyle club in the heart of Notting Hill, extending over three floors with an interactive play and learn zone for families with children (The Kids Club), indulgent spa, luxury salon, nutritionally focused brasserie and a holistic wellness clinic. While The Kids Club is a members-only area tailored to families with young children (0-7), while our wellness facilities cater to adults and are open for non-members to explore.

40 hours per week over 4 days, with 3 days off or 5 days per week with 2 days off. 

Main Purpose of the role

The role of the Play Buddy is to deliver a programme of educational, interactive and engaging classes to pre-school age children in line with Cloud Twelve’s culture. There will be an emphasis on creativity, proactive engagement and fun that caters for children of differing abilities and interests.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating an engaging programme of structured, educational, interactive and engaging classes; create class plans, incorporate immersive, child-led and wellness elements
  • Deliver age appropriate classes, events and activities in a positive, fun and engaging manner.
  • Support with development of the curriculum
  • Ensure engagement, high occupancy and positive outcomes.
  • Encourage participation from children and carers where appropriate
  • Gain exceptional customer feedback.
  • Create and deliver a range of classes including music, cooking, arts and crafts.
  • Provide a structured, educational and fun environment in which children can flourish.
  • Use your range of skills to proactively engage children in open play areas.
  • Co-ordinate internal and external events.
  • SOPs: Demonstrate improvement in operations.
  • Create an environment of fun and positivity.
  • Take a proactive approach to engaging children.

Personal Profile:

  • Previous experience in an early years' child care setting
  • Hold Level 2/3 certificate in Early Years ideally
  • Ideally previous experience in planning and delivering classes and events in a child care setting
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – perceptive to customer/kids needs
  • Well presented
  • High degree of personal organisation
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Flexibility with working hours, including some weekend and evening work
