POSITION: Early Years Educator / Classroom Teacher
LOCATION: Curious Kind Early Childhood Centre, Bangkok, Thailand
HOURS: 8:00-16:00 Monday-Friday (subject to minor changes)
SALARY: 70,000 to 80,000baht per month – dependent upon skills, qualifications and experience
START DATE: August 2022
The Early Years Educator / Classroom Teacher plays a key role in the successful delivery of
school programmes and curriculum. An Early Years Educator at Curious Kind is responsible for
a classroom of a maximum of 12 preschool-aged children ranging from 1.5-4 years old. They
are in charge of the daily teaching & learning processes and effectively integrating our core
pillars into age appropriate learning experiences.
This is a permanent full-time teaching opportunity in a lovely setting which focuses on children
ages between 1.5 – 5 years. Candidates must possess a PGCE and/or other bachelor's or master's related Early Years qualifications.
Role & Responsibilities:
• Creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children
• Supervising and supporting children at all times
• Curriculum and class plan
• Individual (student) planning and group (whole class) planning for children to meet learning
goals
• Remaining vigilant and protecting children from harm or abuse, reporting any concerns
immediately
• Interacting warmly with children and parents
• Leading an after school extra-curricular activities (ECA) class once a week
• Collaborating with colleagues on school projects and class projects
• Join and/or lead school tours with prospective parents and families
• Join all open house events and lead children’s activities during each session
• Reflecting on your practice and daily routines and sharing ideas for improvement with your
colleagues
• Contribute to observations and the assessment of children’s learning and development
• Providing feedback and working in partnership with parents and carers, building and
maintaining relationships that encourage trust, open communication and involvement in
school life
