Salary: £23,803.39 - £26,769.60  (depending on qualifications and experience)

Salary: £20.280.00 (Nursery Assistance Level 2)

Hours: 4 / 5 days a week 7:15-6:30pm

We are recruiting on behalf of our client who is currently looking for a experience Early Years Educator level 3 and a level 2 Nursery Assistance to join this lovely nursery  Ofsted rated ‘Good’ in East Dulwich.  You will be joining a beautiful resourced nursery which caters for children from 3 months to five year olds.

Candidates must be Level 2 or 3 Childcare qualified, QTS or Ba Childhood studies related and with some experience of working in a setting. We can accommodate those already doing childcare apprenticeship and can also further development of your current childcare qualification and their is great career progression through internal promotion of Practitioner, room leader, floor manager and 3rd in Charge /management.

Responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring the Nursery environment and safety standard are high
• Making regular observations and assessments, recording development and progress
• To be motivated and able to motivate children and staff
• To plan, prepare and review the curriculum with your team reflective of the EYFS
• An ability to communicate effectively with parents and build a relationship of trust with them
•  A willingness to work as part of  and contribute positively to the staff team
•  A willingness to attend staff meetings, training courses and nursery parent’s evenings as appropriate.

Experience: 

• A minimum Level  2 / 3 in Childcare and Education or above
• Have relevant experience working within an Early Years nursery setting
• Working as part of a team and being supportive as a team player
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of EYFS and safeguarding
•  Full up to date knowledge of current childcare practice
•  A passion for Early Years
