Salary: £20,000 -  £21,000 per year

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent Full time

Are you looking for a new start in a fun, friendly, small nursery?

We are currently recruiting for a level 2 Nursery Practitioner for a medium sized nursery based in Belvedere, Kent. .

As a Nursery Nurse Level 2 you will be responsible for:

  • Providing high standards of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for all children in the nursery
  • Working as part of a team to provide a safe, caring environment to enable the emotional, social, and educational development of children, through individual attention and group activities
  • Working within the requirements set out in the Statutory Framework for the Early Years

Foundation Stage

  • Supporting colleagues throughout the nursery
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with parents and guardians

Qualifications, training and experience required:

  • Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Childcare or equivalent
  • Must have prior experience in a similar role based in a formal childcare setting
  • Sound EYFS knowledge and experience, providing individual child led activities
  • Working knowledge of OFSTED standards
  • Ability to work well in partnership with both dedicated colleagues and parent/carers
  • An ability to organise own work and use initiative.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • People management skills with the ability to use imagination when delivering learning based
  • activities to key children. To motivate children to be the very best they can be.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities and inclusivity
