Contract: Permanent Full-time

Salary: £18,000 – £24,000 per annum

Salary: £18,000-24,000 competitive, depending on qualifications and experience. The nursery is open all year round and applicants will need to work during school holidays.

We are looking for a Montessori Baby room Leader and Nursery Practitioner (NVQ3), to join our lovely nursery in East Dulwich. The positions will be full time. We are looking for someone who is kind, patient and committed to the Montessori ethos.  

Qualifications: Montessori Diploma or NVQ3 and some experience as a room leader would be desirable.

We have great opportunity for a Level 3 Nursery Nurse / Practitioner in one of our outstanding nursery. This is a super opportunity for anyone wanting to take that next step in their Childcare career.

You will be joining a beautiful resourced nursery which caters for children from 3 months to five year olds.

Responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring the Nursery environment and safety standard are high
• Making regular observations and assessments, recording development and progress
• To be motivated and able to motivate children and staff
• To plan, prepare and review the curriculum with your team reflective of the EYFS
• An ability to communicate effectively with parents and build a relationship of trust with them
•  A willingness to work as part of  and contribute positively to the staff team
•  A willingness to attend staff meetings, training courses and nursery parent’s evenings as appropriate.

The ideal candidates must have:

• A minimum Level  3 in Childcare and Education or above
• Have relevant experience within an Early Years setting as a Nursery Nurse
• Working as part of a team and being supportive as a team player
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of EYFS and safeguarding
•  Full up to date knowledge of current childcare practice
•  A passion for Early Years
