Job description:
- To effectively overlook the delivery of the EYFS ensuring that the individual needs and interest of children in the setting are met (in conjunction with other management members)
- To overlook records of children’s development and learning journeys and share with parents, carers and other key adults in the child’s life
- Support all staff and engage in a good staff team, encouraging and training where necessary
- To develop and maintain strong partnerships and communication with parents/carers to facilitate day-to-day caring and early learning needs
- To motivate and promote high standards, progression, continuity, and quality of learning
- To overlook the practise carried out in rooms
- To effectively carry out staff supervisions regularly
- To be able to deal with issues/concerns brought to you by members of staff e.g. over children, parents, the safety of the environment, preserving confidentiality, as necessary
- To encourage learning and development through play and teaching
- To work alongside the staff team to ensure that the setting’s philosophy is fulfilled
- To effectively carry out the day to day paperwork
- To be inclusive and adapt learning to children’s needs
- To be able to carry out viewings and registrations
