I am currently working with a nursery who are looking for a full time Deputy Nursery Manager to join their team. The Deputy Nursery Manager will be responsible for assisting and supporting the manager in day to day duties including managing the nursery practitioners and ensuring that all the policies and procedures are followed. The Deputy Nursery Manager will also, support the Nursery Manager, by covering in their absence and providing outstanding standards across the setting. Ensure that the nursery is well maintained and ensure that staff ratios are always met, complying with legislation and regulatory requirements.
This nursery is an extremely busy setting and is constantly on the go. You will never have a 'slow' day or a day that is the same. You will be the nursery managers right hand person and will need to be a very supportive and enthusiastic individual.
Deputy Nursery Manager Duties:
The Deputy Nursery Manager will be hired on a full time, permanent basis working 40 hours, 5 days per week.
