Salary: £37,000 - £39,500 per annum

Details: 40 hours per week

New Cross Nursery & Pre-School is a short walk from local bus routes and transport hubs offers a fun and exciting environment for children to enjoy and learn in. The rooms are split over 2 floors and is one of our larger settings they have a spacious garden which gives the children opportunities to expand on their outdoor learning. Job Description:

We are seeking an organised and talented Nursery Manager to join our dedicated and hard-working team. The successful candidate will have solid experience in running a busy nursery. Main aspects of the role include but are not limited to working closely with all staff while ensuring focus on the needs of the children as well as being accountable for nursery finances, deployment of staff, quality of the curriculum, Health and Safety, partnership with parents, community engagement and child protection.

Job Requirements:

• Level 3 or above childcare qualification
• Strong demonstratable experience managing a larger early years’ setting
• A strong leader who role models’ good practice
• Adaptable to the needs of the Nursery and organisation
• Ability to flex management style to build strong nurturing relationships with the Nursery team and stakeholders.
• Ability to use a coaching approach when developing staff.
• The ability to build strong lasting relationships with Parents through pedagogical conversations.
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
• Strong desire to influence positive change when required through role modelling the LEYF values; Brave, Fun, Inspiring, and Nurturing
