Nursery Nurse Level 3
Are you an NVQ Level 3 Nursery Nurse looking for permanent or temporary work!
We are currently seeking a passionate and experience Nursery Nurse to work in a fabulous nursery in Stockwell London, 5 minute walk from Stockwell Underground Station.
You will be required to care for children aged 3 months to 5 years (depending on the room) . You will be providing the highest possible care for children’s individual needs.
Responsibilities will include:
Ensuring the Nursery environment, and safety standards are high making regular observation and assessments, recording development and progress
Ensuring the safety wellbeing of each child
Adhering to all policies and procedures of the nursery
The ideal candidate must have:
A minimum Level 3 in Childcare and Education or equivalent
Have relevant experience within an Early Years setting as a Nursery Nurse
Excellent knowledge of the Health and Safety requirements in early years
Sound knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
Full up to date knowledge of current childcare practice
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to use initiative

A good understanding of children’s development, together with the EYFS Curriculum
Experience of leading and supporting a team
To plan, prepare and review the curriculum with your team reflective of the EYFS
To work alongside the Nursery Manager in achieving outstanding childcare Organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
Good understanding of marketing and supporting the Occupancy within the Nursery
To be motivated and able to motivate children and staff
An ability to work on own initiative An ability to communicate effectively with parents and build a relationship of trust with them To possess a reasonable standard of literacy and the ability to write reports as appropriate
A willingness to work as part of and contribute positively to the staff team
A willingness to attend staff meetings, training courses and nursery parent’s evenings as appropriate.
