Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to work with toddlers in Forest Hill nursery

A family run nursery in Forest Hill is looking to recruit a Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to work in the toddler room
This is a FULL TIME permanent position and you will be contracted to work 41 hours per week over 4.5 days, the week will consist of you working 4 full days working 8-6 and one half day either 8-1 or 1-6 (this will alternate)
There toddler room caters for a maximum 16-20 children between the age of 2-3 years.
As a nursery practitioner you will be expected to carry out the following duties:
-carry out observations & planning on key children following the EYFS framework
-follow policies & Procedures of setting
-Ensure children's needs are meet
-working with team to achieve best possible outcomes
-communicate with children, parents & staff

- Minimum level 2 childcare qualification
- DBS check (wiling to get one done)
-understanding of EYFS, Ofsted & safeguarding
-excellent communication skills both written & spoken

You will receive 20 days annual leave + bank holidays (plus an extra day a year you have been there for 3 years)
