Doodle Do is situated near the Bishops Stortford train station, a couple of minutes work from the high street.

Doodle Do Day Nursery is looking for a qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly and happy team. The successful candidate will have an enthusiastic and positive attitude along with excellent communication and written skills, and the ability to build strong, supportive relationships with children, parents and staff. They should also be patient, empathetic, caring and friendly. Do you fit the profile? Then we really want to hear from you!

Role overview: 

  • Ensures that the Nursery team are supported effectively.
  • Assists in the allocated base room ensuring all children’s needs are met.
  • Carries out any duties as requested by the Room Leader.
  • Contributes to the effective running of the room

This position is a full-time position and salary is dependent on experience and suitability of the successful candidate.

Essential Skills/Qualifications: 

  • Full and relevant Early Years qualification
  • Full understanding and working knowledge of the EYFS
  • Awareness of the Ofsted inspection framework
  • Experience of working within a team
  • Experience of providing customer service
  • Good understanding of health and safety requirements
  • Experience of managing a cohort of key children

Desirable Skills/Qualifications: 

  • Experience of working in a similar role
