About The Role
Full time, 36 hours per week.

KIDS have a vacancy for a dynamic and creative Senior Practitioner (Early Years) who will support the growth and development of our small inclusive nursery. Do you have experience working with children with special education needs (SEND).
The successful candidate will expected to:
  • To fulfil the role of SENCO for a key group of children including planning and evaluating their learning, leading on multi- agency meeting and completing Early Support Plans.
  • To work as a member of the Early Years Team based at KIDS Wylde Green to ensure that quality provision for children 0 - 5 years is delivered.
  • Responsibility for the daily running of the nursery whilst adhering to KIDS Policies & Procedures and the requirements and guidelines outlined by Ofsted and through KIDS Standards
This is a permanent full time role - with the option of term time working.
About You
The successful candidates should have:
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and experience of working with children with special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Excellent understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and be able to support children's learning and development through planning creative play experiences based on individual interests and needs.
  • Experience of working with parents and carers and a wide range of professionals is important as is the confidence to support and manage early years practitioners and apprentices within our nursery ensuring the highest possible quality provision.
You should have a minimum of an NVQ Level 3 in Early Years and three years post qualifying experience.
