Friends Forest Nursery is looking for a Room Leader to join our friendly and happy team. The successful candidate will have at least a Level 3, full and relevant qualification or equivalent in childcare, and have at least 2 years’ post qualification experience of working in a day nursery. A thorough understanding and knowledge of legislation including the Early Years Foundation Stage is essential. The successful candidate will have an enthusiastic and positive attitude along with excellent communication and written skills, and the ability to build strong, supportive relationships with children, parents and staff. They must also be patient, empathetic, caring and friendly, and adept at dealing with stress, with proven supervisory and coaching experience.

This position is a full-time position and salary is dependent on experience and suitability of the successful candidate.

Level 3 (or above) full and relevant Childcare Qualification
