We are an inclusive early years setting, working closely with a range of children and their families. The nursery has been running for 10 years and are fortunate to have a hard working, respectful, passionate and friendly staff team.
With the development of our new nursery building we are looking to recruit an assistant practitioner to support in our strive to providing outstanding care to children and their families. The post is for 36 hours a week/full time, for 52 weeks of the year. However, we are closed between Christmas and the New Year. We are open Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm.
We are looking for a nurturing individual who is excited to work with children, enjoys supporting children's learning through play, and can develop activities to support this.
Creating activities to support children's development at a range of development levels
Have good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stages (EYFS)
work closely with staff to develop next steps within all areas of children's learning and development
Observe children and write observations
Accompany staff on home visits
Attend parent meetings and build strong parent partnership relationships and positive family working
Participate in the planning of areas and activities
To implement all KIDS policies and procedures including Health and Safety, Safeguarding, Risk Assessment, Equal Opportunities etc.
To actively engage in staff development opportunities including training, supervision and appraisals
KIDS is an inclusive nursery working with children from 3 months to 5 years. We work with children of many different abilities and backgrounds and support them with their learning and development through play. The setting is open 8am-6pm, Monday to Friday for 51 weeks of the year. We are very fortunate to have a new nursery building that will provide opportunities for children, their families, visiting professionals and the staff team. With this expansion we are looking for positive, engaging, passionate and friendly individuals to join our welcoming staff team.
