For over 20 years, Little Green Man has provided fantastic childcare with the simple ethos: we care.

We are a family owned and run business, with a fantastic team of Early Years experts, many of whom have been working with us for over a decade.

With room for over 130 children and with 50 plus staff, we are one of the largest childcare providers in east London, with some of the top facilities and plenty of space for your child to have a happy, secure, imaginative and stimulating environment to grow, learn and play.

Little Green Man is open 52 weeks of the year from 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday and caters for all children aged 0-5,  as well as having a Kids’ Club with pick-up and drop-off facilities to local schools.

Little Green Man is looking for some of the brightest and most passionate apprentices adn students to come and work with us. Purpose of Post •To work under the direction of the Manager/Room Leader/Nursery Assistant •Assist in providing high standards of childcare, to include a safe, caring environment to enable emotional, social, and educational development of the children. •To ensure that the children under supervision receive the highest possible standard of childcare and professional practice in the Nursery. Responsible to : Nursery Assistant/Room Leader/Manager/Deputy Manager/Proprietor Main Duties •To provide a high standard of quality care •Be aware of and act in accordance with Nursery policies and procedures •To assist in the implementation and participate in activities and programmes devised to promote all aspects of the development of the children and to keep effective records of the children s progress when directed to do so. •To ensure that a safe and healthy environment exists at all times. •To attend college and complete all assignments set in required time •To attend training meetings which may be outside Nursery hours •To inform Room Leader/Manager of social, physical and emotional well being of children in his/her care •To ensure that all relevant information is recorded or passed on to other staff as appropriate at the end of each day or shift. •To actively promote and support the safeguarding of children in the workplace, ensuring that all staff and volunteers observe the settings policies and procedures to keep children safe from harm.
