Ms Brabin who is opening the show will be joined at the event in Manchester by early years education expert, Alistair Bryce-Clegg and Britain’s Got Talent star and Golden Buzzer singer, Donchez Dacres.

The early years show being held at EventCity on 14 and 15 June will host a jam-packed exhibition filled with leading industry suppliers and fun-filled feature areas.

Event organiser Emma Barrett said: “Alongside a series of inspirational CPD seminars running across both days, there will be a full programme of interactive workshops for visitors to get involved in and discover new activities to try in their settings.

“The workshops will cover a range of interesting topics, including mindfulness in the early years, an introduction to Makaton, sensory play, and ways of supporting fine motor development.”

Alistair Bryce-Clegg, who worked on the Channel 4’s BAFTA award-winning programme, Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds is hosting two seminars at the show where he will discuss the benefits of intergenerational projects and child-led approaches to learning.

In addition, speech & language therapists Diana McQueen and Jo Williams, will demonstrate how nursery practitioners can systematically and easily introduce universal language screening for all children in the early years.

While Britain’s Got Talent star, Donchez Dacres will be livening up EventCity with his Jamaican-infused music, providing a fun-filled workshop with Amanda’s Action Club.
